Terms of Use
Effective Date: January 15, 2025
Welcome to uvientoras. By accessing our website at uvientoras.com and participating in our budget education programs, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you don't agree with any part of these terms, please don't use our services. We've written this in plain language because legal jargon helps nobody.
1. Acceptance and Agreement
These terms create a binding agreement between you and uvientoras. When you sign up for our learning programs, download materials, or interact with our platform, you're acknowledging that you've read and accepted these conditions. We update these terms occasionally, and the date at the top shows when we last made changes.
If we make significant changes, we'll notify you through email or a notice on our website. Continuing to use our services after changes means you accept the updated terms. It's worth checking back here every few months.
2. Eligibility and Account Responsibilities
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account with uvientoras. If you're under 18, you'll need a parent or guardian to set up and supervise your account. We take age requirements seriously because our educational content is designed for adult learners.
Account Security
You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. That means:
- Don't share your password with anyone, even people you trust
- Use a strong password that combines letters, numbers, and symbols
- Log out from shared devices after using our platform
- Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account
We won't be liable for losses arising from unauthorized account use if you haven't taken reasonable security measures. If someone else uses your account without permission, you're still responsible for their activities until you report the breach to us.
3. Educational Services and Content
uvientoras provides budget education through various formats including online courses, downloadable resources, webinars, and written materials. Our content is designed for educational purposes and represents our approach to financial literacy.
Important: Our educational content provides general information about budgeting and financial management. It's not personalized financial advice. Your individual circumstances matter, and you should consider consulting with licensed financial advisers for specific situations.
What We Provide
- Access to structured learning modules on budget management
- Downloadable templates and worksheets for personal finance tracking
- Regular updates to course materials as financial practices evolve
- Community forums for discussing budgeting strategies with other learners
- Email support for technical and course-related questions
What We Don't Guarantee
While we're confident in the quality of our educational materials, we can't promise specific financial outcomes. Your results depend on numerous factors including your personal circumstances, how you apply what you learn, and external economic conditions. We don't guarantee debt elimination, specific savings amounts, or credit score improvements.
4. Intellectual Property Rights
All content on uvientoras.com belongs to uvientoras or our content partners. This includes text, graphics, videos, audio files, course structures, and downloadable materials. We've worked hard to create these resources, and they're protected by Australian and international copyright laws.
If you'd like to use our content beyond personal education, contact us at help@uvientoras.com. We're open to partnerships and licensing arrangements under the right circumstances.
5. User Conduct and Prohibited Activities
We've built uvientoras as a supportive learning environment. To keep it that way, we need everyone to follow some basic guidelines. Most of this is common sense, but we've spelled it out clearly.
You agree not to:
- Post offensive, threatening, or discriminatory content in forums or comments
- Attempt to hack, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Use our platform for spam, advertising, or promotional purposes
- Impersonate other users, instructors, or uvientoras staff members
- Share malicious software or links that could harm other users
- Scrape or systematically collect data from our website using automated tools
- Create multiple accounts to circumvent access restrictions
If you violate these rules, we may warn you, suspend your access temporarily, or terminate your account permanently depending on the severity. We don't take these actions lightly, but we need to protect our community.
6. Payment Terms and Refund Policy
When you enroll in paid programs, you agree to pay the fees displayed at the time of purchase. We accept major credit cards and other payment methods shown at checkout. Prices are in Australian dollars unless otherwise stated.
Refund Conditions
We offer a 14-day satisfaction period for most courses. If you're not happy with a program, contact us within 14 days of purchase for a refund. After 14 days, sales are final. This doesn't affect your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
Refunds aren't available for completed courses where you've accessed all materials, or for heavily discounted promotional offerings where refund exclusions were clearly stated at purchase.
Subscription Services
Some programs operate on subscription models with recurring payments. You can cancel anytime, but we don't provide refunds for partial months. When you cancel, you'll retain access until the end of your current billing period.
7. Privacy and Data Usage
Your privacy matters to us. We collect and use your information as described in our Privacy Policy, which you should read alongside these terms. In summary, we collect what we need to provide our services and improve your learning experience.
Data We Collect
- Account information like your name, email, and location
- Learning progress and course completion data
- Payment information processed securely through third-party providers
- Technical data about how you interact with our platform
- Communications you send us through support channels
We never sell your personal information to third parties. We may share anonymized, aggregated data for research or improvement purposes, but this can't identify individual users.
8. Third-Party Services and Links
Our platform occasionally links to external websites or integrates third-party services like payment processors and video hosting platforms. We choose these partners carefully, but we don't control their operations or privacy practices.
When you click external links or use integrated services, you're subject to their terms and policies. We recommend reviewing those before sharing information. We're not responsible for issues arising from third-party services, though we'll help where we can if problems occur.
9. Limitation of Liability
We work hard to provide reliable, high-quality educational services. However, like any online platform, we can't guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free operation. Technical issues happen, and while we fix them quickly, we're not liable for losses from temporary service disruptions.
uvientoras and its team members aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services. This includes lost profits, data loss, or business interruption.
Our total liability to you for any claim related to these terms or our services is limited to the amount you paid us in the six months before the issue arose. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain liability limitations, so parts of this section might not apply to you.
Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer rights you have under Australian Consumer Law or other applicable laws that can't be excluded. Where we're permitted to limit remedies, we limit them to resupplying the services or paying the cost of resupply.
10. Termination of Services
You can stop using our services anytime by closing your account through your profile settings. If you have active subscriptions, remember to cancel those separately to avoid future charges.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or abuse our platform. Before terminating an account, we usually provide warnings and opportunities to correct the issue, except in cases of serious misconduct.
What Happens After Termination
- You lose access to course materials and your learning history
- Downloaded materials remain subject to our intellectual property rights
- We may retain some data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes
- Sections of these terms that should reasonably survive termination (like limitation of liability) remain in effect
11. Dispute Resolution
If you have issues with our services, contact us first. Most problems can be resolved through direct conversation. Reach out to help@uvientoras.com with details about your concern, and we'll respond within three business days.
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. If we can't resolve a dispute informally, you agree that courts in New South Wales have jurisdiction, though this doesn't prevent you from bringing claims in your local jurisdiction where applicable law allows.
12. Changes to Services
We continuously improve our educational content and platform features. This means we might add new courses, update existing materials, or occasionally retire outdated content. We generally don't remove access to courses you've purchased, but we may update them to reflect current best practices.
If we make major changes that significantly affect your purchased courses, we'll notify you in advance. For subscription services, we reserve the right to modify features, though substantial changes will be communicated with reasonable notice.
13. General Provisions
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce any provision doesn't constitute a waiver of that provision. These terms represent the complete agreement between you and uvientoras regarding our services.
You can't transfer your rights under these terms to anyone else. We may transfer our rights and obligations to another entity if we're acquired or merge with another company, though we'd ensure your service continues without disruption.
