Money Conversations That Actually Matter

Most budget courses tell you what to do. We show you why you're not doing it—and help you figure out what works for your actual life. Starting September 2025.

The Disconnect Between Knowing and Doing

You already know you should spend less than you earn. Track expenses. Build an emergency fund. But knowing isn't the problem—it's the gap between understanding a concept and actually changing your behavior.

Our programs started because we noticed something odd. People would leave traditional finance workshops nodding along, then do absolutely nothing different. The information made sense. The advice was sound. But nothing stuck.

So we stopped teaching budgets and started exploring the messy human reasons why smart people make decisions that don't align with their goals.

How Our Approach Actually Works

1

Map Your Current Reality

We start by examining your actual spending patterns—not what you think you spend, but what the data shows. Most people are surprised by what they discover.

2

Identify Your Friction Points

Where does your system break down? Is it tracking? Decision fatigue? Partner disagreements? We help you spot the specific moments where things fall apart.

3

Build Your Custom Framework

Using what we learn about your friction points, we help you create a money management approach that fits your brain, your schedule, and your life.

4

Test and Adjust

Over several weeks, you try your system in real life. When something doesn't work, we figure out why and adjust. This isn't theory—it's practical iteration.

What Makes This Different

Traditional finance education focuses on tactics. We focus on the psychology and systems that make those tactics work (or fail) in real life.

You won't get a one-size-fits-all budget template. You'll get a framework for building systems that match how your brain actually works.

Our materials are built from actual participant questions, struggles, and breakthroughs from two years of running pilot programs across regional NSW.

Who This Helps Most

Our programs work best for people who already understand basic finance concepts but struggle to implement them consistently.

You might be earning decent money but can't figure out where it goes. Or you've tried multiple budgeting apps that didn't stick. Maybe you and your partner keep having the same circular money conversations.

If you're looking for get-rich-quick schemes or investment advice, this isn't it. If you want to build sustainable systems for managing the money you have—whatever that amount is—we can help.

Portrait of program participant

I've read every finance book. Downloaded every app. Nothing worked until I understood why I kept sabotaging my own plans. The group sessions gave me space to actually figure out my personal friction points instead of just getting more advice I wouldn't follow.
